  • Course Description

    This course focuses on theoretical and practical principles of Real-Time Media over Internet Protocol coupled with SIP (Session Initiation Protocol). Although the course is intended to be generic, examples of VoIP networks are highlighted utilising multi vendor software and hardware. The course starts with a recap of some TCP./IP Protocols, particularly those at the Network and Transport Layers such as IP, TCP and UDP and the use of Port Numbers.
